Don't walk, run.
WAAAY better than the tourist-y, upscale Kintaro. Very authentic Japanese with a wonderful sushi chef (wonderful with his artistry, wonderful with his charming and engaging manner). This place has apparently been there, in this same spot, since 1922. I'd say it's stood the test of time.
We were the only unescorted white people in the joint.
S & D each give Hanamaulu Sushi five stars.

YOU SIR would know what a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant would be like.. I know I was there..
Lets do that again, but this time we need to start in Okinawa and work our way back up through Hiroshima,Kyoto, Tokyo and then back up to Sapporo
