Kalalau trail.. OMG

"Are you fucking kidding me right now?"

Deena and Viren starting to "feel" the power of the Na Pali.

The group has now managed a few tough rises into the valley and is about to drop into a whole new world. Probably one with dinosaurs.

I know a little about flowers, but I don't know this one.

Wild orchids along the trail. Yes, this is happening.

Anini. Seriously.

That's a keeper.

Evans looks deep in thought. Don't worry; he's probably not.

I mean really: what's wrong with this guy? We don't know.

Sunset at Ke'e

No shit. This was one of several shark sightings - sharks of the bitey variety - since we've been here. Eight people of our group saw a 12+ foot tiger in Wainiha Bay this same day. A 15 foot tiger surfaced in Hanalei Bay in pouring rain Saturday afternoon, and Deena and I were swimming in Hanalei Bay Saturday, in that same pouring rain. They like the murky effluent from the rain-swollen Hanalei river, I guess. I've never heard of this much activity on the North shore here.

Uh, not sure.
