Lisa's Civil Ceremony

Lisa and my new brother-in-law Evans are getting married in Ireland next month, but not "legally." So, the legal ceremony was in their home state of California. So, that's why all the pics of SF City Hall - we stayed across the street so as to make getting the deed done all easy and fun. Seriously, a lovely building, and a surprisingly easy, personal, pleasant and sincere ceremony. The city commissioner who performed the ceremony was so sweet and genuine, the setting was lovely - all in all, a great way to go, I gotta say.

Hippies in the Mist

We crept up, ever so quietly, hoping to get a glimpse Our patience and quiet stealth were eventually rewarded: wild hippies in their natural habitat! Being upwind, we could catch the scent of their ceremonial maryjane, and we heard their warbling folk/protest songs and guitar strumming quite clearly.

The next several posts (in reverse chronological order as Blogger orders them, so actually the previous several posts) are from a Wahkeena Falls hike a goup of us too this past Sunday.

Tsuga was clearly stoked to be out. She spends so much time sleeping at my feet under my desk, and when the weather turns nice she just looks at me like, "c'mon, dumbass. It's all happening outside."
